03 — About

A workshop first, a shop second

Ghosia CMT began in 1998 as a two-man carpentry unit on 33-D Korangi, cutting and polishing frames for other people's showrooms. We kept the tools and dropped the middle step.

Today the same building holds the saw floor, the upholstery room and the showroom. You can watch a frame being joined, choose the fabric from the roll, and see the finished piece before it is wrapped. Nothing is imported and nothing is assembled from flat-pack board.
