This policy explains what personal information Ghosia CMT (“we”, “us”) collects when you contact us, visit our showroom or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to enquiries made by telephone or email.
Who we are
Ghosia CMT is a furniture workshop and showroom at 33-D-95 Korangi, Karachi 74200, Pakistan. For any question about this policy, write to info@ghosiacmt.pk or call +92 300 742 6815.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, telephone number, email address and delivery address — when you enquire about a piece or place an order.
- Order details such as the item, fabric and finish chosen, room measurements, delivery date and payment status.
- Basic technical data recorded by our hosting provider when this site is served, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not ask for information we do not need to complete your order.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
- To build, deliver and install the furniture you have ordered.
- To handle warranty claims, repairs and re-upholstery.
- To keep accounting records as required by Pakistani law.
We contact you about your own order. We do not send marketing messages unless you have asked us to, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Sharing
We share the minimum necessary information with delivery and installation staff, and with our hosting and email providers, so that they can perform their work for us. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We disclose information to a public authority only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted within twelve months. Order and warranty records are kept for the length of the warranty and for the period our tax and accounting obligations require, then deleted.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may cache the fonts and images the pages use so that later visits load faster; you can clear this at any time from your browser settings.
Security
Customer records are held on password-protected devices and accounts, and paper order slips are kept at the workshop. No system is perfect, but we limit access to the staff who need it to do their job.
Your choices
You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to info@ghosiacmt.pk and we will respond within thirty days.
Children
This site is intended for adults purchasing furniture. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the revised version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use your information will be explained here in plain language.
